My research topic is : Booker T. Washington

I find two websites about him, I think the below websites could help me better to know more information about him.

The first one website is PBS, why i choose this website,because when i research Booker T.Washington, this website get me a big information about his background, his story and also connect the information about Jim Crow. i can get some detail from that website.

i have gotten information about Booker T.w was born in 1865,died in 1915. he was the most famous black man in America between 1895 and 1915.He was a slave on a small farm in the Virginia back country. on this website, i also get his life story about he became a star pupil under the tutelage of General Samuel Chapman Armstrong, head of Hampton. i was amazed by his student life and how he was successful.



The second one website is
I was interested this website by there show us the Virtual Museum, Virtual storybook and student Activities about the Booker T.Washington.
through this website, i got very clear information about him.he was a teacher.
After the Civil Warm he helped many African Americans to go to school.Also i know when he was a young boy, he was a save on a plantation. 




After the civil war, all slaves were free. so he and his family left the plantation on which they had worked,and walked to their new home in west virgins.




I am very appreciated Booker T. Washington ,he worked very hard his entire life to help other people to go to school. He was a great American.
