                                                       CARNAVAL

Is a public celebration that takes place immediately before the Christian Lent, this celebration the dated is variable (late January to early March in the year), which combines some elements such as costumes, parades and street parties. This celebration is different depending on location, primarily held with parades, flour, and a lots fun.
In the following paragraphs I will describe how is the celebrations in different parts of my country. The most known of this celebration is the city of Guaranda, capital of Bolívar province, 4 hours from the capital of Ecuador, where they come from the same mountains and the coast of Ecuador for being in the middle of Ecuador. They drink liquor typical of the area, the "Pajaro Azul". There is a parade of floats, identifying various themes and dance troupes most traditional carnival anthem "Carnaval of Guaranda".A different kind of celebration is what takes place in Ambato, land of flowers and fruit, where the characteristic, unlike the rest of Ecuador, are the cultural troupes, which performed the parade of floats, decorated with flowers and fruits in the area and delegations from other countries come to march in it.On the coast the rest of the celebration of water, foam and balloons also binds cultural celebrations such as Esmeraldas area where international festivals are held African-American cultures in places like "La Calle 8" and the Palms Wellness Centre. This celebration is very well received by all people, so much so that in each of the cities offer beautiful and cultural shows.

In the south, especially in the provinces of Azuay and Canar, also used water and some other items like flour in a kind of war, usually between family members and acquaintances. In addition there are also several public and private shows.

However, in this area, this date is also used by many to go on holiday to other parts of the country, why, in the city of Cuenca, the most populated area, the number of pedestrians and vehicles is considerably reduced.
In Guayaquil, which is the largest and most populous city in Ecuador, known as the "Perla del Pacifico" is from 2008, the Carnaval of Guayaquil, on the initiative of the Most Illustrious Municipality of Guayaquil, has been promoted as a cultural festival. Various activities involving children, youth and adults, have made this event becomes a tourist and cultural event of great significance in the city.
Art shows, parades with floats, parades, among other activities, have made the image of a carnival of games with water, ink, flour and oil, to fade, making it a colorful event full of tradition and that for 4 days flood the streets of the city with lots of rhythm and fun.In Quito, the capital of Ecuador, the carnival is lived in the tradition of playing with water, foam carnival. flour and others. However, many of the capital leverage this time to visit other parts of the country, especially the coast and the Amazon.
