This article “Booker T. Washington” from Encyclopedia of Southern culture edited by Charles Reagan Wilson and William Ferris, there is talking about an American educator, author, orator, and political leader, Booker T. Washington, who devoted his whole life to serve his nation, trying to win the freedom from this country. He was born in 1856, grew up in a slave family on a small farm in the Virginia countryside. Since he was a kid, who always struggled and promoted with himself did whatever he can in education. Through that period, he grew up more and more experience of the leadership in his careers, he became chief black exemplar and he also inspired the black folks to fight for the freedom.
When I read that information about the person, Booker T. Washington”, who devoted himself that service and bring some benefits to the black folk,  who was proud of him. He is one of these amazing person, who fought for the sake of his people continuously. I admire these people and realize that I have to be strong enough to protest for other people and the society. Before I am able to do that, I will just wait and keep going forward.
It had happened everywhere, which it war and any unfair things, there would born some heroes to bring people out of that cruel situation, giving them  new lives to develop themselves. And this kind of actions will be passed by from generation to generation. Life is short but the spirits and dedication of these people are immortal.
