BP# 2 CHRISTIANA

From the 1880s into the 1960s, a common of American states forced separate through "Jim Crow" laws. These laws started from Delaware to California and from North Dakota to Texas. The force legal judgments on people for consorting with members of another race. The most common types of laws stopped intermarriage and straight business owners and public groups to keep their black and white custom separated. Here are some of the samples several laws, nurses, restaurants, parks, buses, libraries, textbooks etc.
For example in the state of Alabama no white female nurse should not be place in the in the same hospitals. If it is public or private where black people are. Also in the bus all black should sit at that back of the bus. Next, restaurant white people food were serve from upward to a distance of seven feet from the colored people.
Also in the state of North Carolina, textbook were not be similar between the white and colored school. But the white kids should use first then black, moreover in the public libraries there were a fit directed separate from the use of the colored people. A lot of thing happens in Jim Crow laws. These laws let to the voting rights acts of 1965 and civil right act of 1964. Also in this right most of the colored people were fighting for their right. They want equal but not separate
