Jim Crow laws

Jim Crow laws were state and local laws in the United States between 1876 and 1965 in southern states.Their main point was "separate but equal" but actually this law made people to be more racist. Black and white people get separated  by this law in one country.

They separated in anything and everywhere. Jim Crow Laws made black people and white people to use different bathroom and separated them to seat in the bus. In the http://www.ferris.edu/jimcrow/what.htm website, they have a picture of rest rooms sign for only white people. They separated in public schools, public places, and public transportation, in restaurants and in U.S military also. According to http://academic.udayton.edu/race/02rights/jcrow02.htm website, they have many examples of Jim Crow Laws. Basically, they lived separately in one country. They couldn't even marry to each other even though they love each other.
Jim Crow Laws were continued until 1866. It was after the civil war and the Emancipation Proclamation but white people tried to pushed them down under their control.  Jim Crow laws didn't follow the Civil Rights and Civil liberties that they have to respect. The public school segregation was removed because of Brown vs Board of education case. Supreme Court of the United States declared state laws establishing separate public schools for black and white students. Then Jim Crow Laws started to be remove by Civil rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965.
Black people tried so hard to get their own human rights and freedom back in history and they struggled all these things.
