BP#3 Music in Harlem Pauly

  Throughout the 1920s,30s,40s,Harlem was the "heart"of Jazz and Blues.Jazz was the sound of 1920 and became the "people's" music with the Harlem renaissance.Life seems different and people's got charmed by that music which express the African American proud!

Jazz was the sound of the 1920s.And became the "people's"music with the Harlem renaissance.  









 Jazz remain very popular with most of the Harlem citizens and its popularity was growing quickly nationally and worldwide.






"JAZZ WAS A POPULAR ENTERTAINMENT AND BECOME A HUGE BUSINESS"
Men like Duke Ellington , Jelly Roll , Morton and Willie "the Lion" Smith were "the Gladiators"of jazz in these early years.
Harlem music was more than just a music , for many, Jazz was a "way of life"
