                                                                   Jim Crow Laws

 
  After "American Civil War" , there has been enough agreement for legislation to pass the congress that regulate and re-calibrate to correct the laws about racial discrimination. That unfair law that they resisted before  known as Jim Crow Laws. It was included segregation in public schools and use of facilities such as restaurants, cinemas, hotels,theaters and public baths.Especially in trains and buses.

  Before 1954, through the continuous efforts, colored people successfully passed the laws to eliminate the segregation on inter-state railways. But the segregation on inter-state buses still existed to discrimination against colored people. Such as blacks sitting nearest front had to give up their seats to the white- so called seats for white only. And a sudden occurrence of Montgomery Bus Boycott has changed the status.It was led by Martin Luther King and the civil rights group.They resisted in an unremitting struggle. This known as non-violence rebellion. By traveling through Deep South, they campaigned against the other forms of racial discrimination and achieved a good results. Eventually, it ended up with the blacks' success.

  The year of 1964, the president persuaded congress and passed the Civil Rights Act. This made legal that blacks use public place equally with whites and have equal opportunities in job hunting.All kinds of discrimination based on color and race became prohibited.

  This symbolize the end of the racial discrimination.
