The Harlem Renaissance happened during the 1920s and 1930s. It was known as the "New Negro Movement". It was time when intellectual growth was for Africans Americans. The Harlem Renaissance is about what was involved and what the Harlem Renaissance was. It is also about how it came about. There is lot of dealing with the Renaissance. This was not just an explosion of African American history. It was a new beginning for blacks and whites.It gave Africa American pride in them. It made them feel like anything and everything was possible.
A n important figure to the Renaissance was a man named Hubert Harrison. He founded the newspaper called The Voice.It redefined how people all over America and the world,viewed African American.

 There are a lot of things people can name that happened during the Harlem Renaissance. The name how much art was involved. There were some organization involved also. It helped recognize African Americans too. It helped black people feel important. This event help African Americans become recognized in America.
